About the Photo: Wainapanapa State Park is located just off the world famous Road to Hana, just before the town of Hana, on the island of Maui. This is a beautiful Maui Black Sand beach in a truly spectacular, lush, tropical, island setting. I used a wide-angle lens and carefully composed this image to try to convey the array of beautiful rich colors and interesting elements. Gorgeous, jet black sand amidst the greens, turquoise and blues that surround it all make for an outstanding combination. |
