Early 1900 photo of the old corral at the north end of Kailua-Kona and a paniolo dragging a steer into the ocean to tie to the whaleboat. Once tied to the sideof the whaleboat, the steers were then taken out to the steamer where they were hoisted up and onto the boat for transport to Honolulu. All prints are matted and printed on archival photo paper. |
